Founded in 1977, by Patrick T. Brennan and Rick Johnston, for the express purpose of providing facility managers with a comprehensive computerized preventative maintenance program for their HVAC systems. The first milestone was programming a Data General mini-computer to keep track of the maintenance and equipment in hundreds of buildings. This was accomplished during the days of the Altair, Imsai and the Electric Pencil. Eventually our early Cobol programs were re-written in xbase and brought down to the PC level, and of course we have been improving them ever since. This, along with our other great strength, our people, attracted Cleveland's most successful real estate builders and developers to our mechanical maintenance program. Not to mention many of the local industrial giants. Along the way we were continually asked to install systems for our existing customers. We knew we could provide a better product. So, in the mid-eighties we started, in earnest, the installation division and the rest as they say is history. In 1989 we purchased a building on East 33rd Street and renovated it to accommodate our sheetmetal shop, training facility and offices. What's to come... many great things!
